    Asclera® (polidocanol) is a prescription medicine that is used in a procedure called sclerotherapy and is administered by a healthcare provider to treat two types of veins:

    • Uncomplicated spider veins (<1mm in diameter)
    • Uncomplicated small varicose veins (1-3mm diameter) known as reticular veins

    Asclera® is a sclerosing agent that is injected into the vein.  It works by damaging the endothelium, the cells lining the blood vessels.  This causes the blood vessel to clot over time and the clotted vein becomes replaced by tissue.

  • Glycolic Acid Treatment Cream

    Glycolic acid belongs to the group commonly referred to as alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs).  Glycolic acid has the smallest molecular size of all the AHAs and therefore, it can penetrate the skin more easily than other AHAs.  Thus, glycolic acid provides the greatest benefits to the skin when compared with other cosmetically used AHAs.

    Glycolic acid helps to gently slough, or exfoliate, the dead cell layer which manifests fine lines uneven skin tones.  With continued use, the appearance of fine lines seems to fade.  Clearer, more supple skin is revealed.

  • Hair Removal Laser Treatment

    Laser-Hair-Removal

    Laser hair removal reduces the growth of unwanted hair from nearly any part of the body.  This process destroys the hair follicle at the root of where the hair grows.  Multiple laser treatments can successfully extend a hair-free period for months to years.  A typical treatment course consists of 6 to 8 sessions.  Treatments are spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.

    Additional periodic maintenance treatments may be necessary to remain hair free.  Tanned skin or skin that has been exposed to extended periods of sunlight cannot be treated until skin color resumes its normal pigment tone.  This laser treatment works best on lighter skin tones with dark hair coloring.

    It is recommended that hair is shaved the day before treatment and stop hair removal products two weeks prior to each session.
