Sinus surgery

Sinus surgery is designed for those patients who suffer from multiple sinus infections.  This type of surgery creates larger openings through which the sinuses can drain.  Sinus Surgery is also know as Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) and is performed through the openings of the nose.  It does not require any incisions on the face.

Patients can commonly go home the same day of the procedure though you may have packs in your nose requiring you to breathe through your mouth.  Often patients are able to return to work within a week and frequent sinus rinses are all that is required in the postoperative period.
